WHAT IS MASSAGE THERAPY?

Massage therapy is a manually based treatment that focuses on our muscles, joints and systems (circulatory/neural) by applying techniques that help the body return to and maintain its’ optimal health from physical and emotional disharmony. Massage therapists use various hands-on techniques including swedish and myofascial release as well as providing an educational role for clients so that they can take an active role in improving their health. Massage therapy can assist in many things such as helping clients relax from stressful days to treating structural injuries in muscles and joints that can be affecting their daily life, in a safe and effective manner. BC registered massage therapists are dedicated health practitioners with the greatest amount of educational training in all of North America, 3,000hrs of hands on training, and are continually required to take education courses to maintain their registered status. With this strong foundation BC RMTs help to provide their clients with treatments that enhance the health and happiness of their client’s lives.
